Dr. Farelli does a foot scan on every patient at Farelli Chiropractic, because the feet are the foundation or base of our body. If the base is crooked, everything above it will be too. Foot imbalance or dysfunction may have a ripple effect, transferring imbalance (and pain) to the ankles, legs, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, even the skull. Using the scan allows us to assess your feet to make sure everything’s stable and the base is straight.
It’s especially recommended for people who are on their feet all day or do a lot of walking. That includes construction workers, retail workers, cashiers, and similar occupations. At Farelli Chiropractic, we use Foot Levelers technology to take a 2D scan of your feet, one at a time, to reveal hot spots indicating an issue, such as collapsed arches.
